Shortly after finishing his registration on Antar, Philip decided to visit the island's library. He decided he would first research as much as he could before getting to know anyone. He had always loved to be the best informed person around and could not suffer admitting his lack of knowledge. Aventurra came prepared - with plenty of paper to make his notes and with his private journal containing a number of ideas to thing about.

Within the first minutes of his stay, he learned the plan of the library's sections by heart. Then, he went on to check the basic reads recommended for the newly recruited. Still, one of the books seemed to be missing.

How come does the staff allow themselves to have such a mess in this amazing place? he thought. Either something was put in a wrong place... or it's not even in the building. Pure incompetence, whichever is the case.

He kept muttering angry words to himself, not caring to check if anybody was in the room. He didn't even notice the librarian herself, nor his acquaintance from Ponomy.

Kiran's next.

Camille was ready to grovel at General Alexandria's feet when she heard a commotion happening behind one of the shelves. She gasped as she saw lord Equiste talking to the other trainee, wondering if the trainee had somehow revealed that an important book has gone missing. But then she saw that the book they were looking for was actually in the nobleman's grasp. She could almost cry in relief as Lord Equiste placed the book in the shelf she had prepared especially for important books.

She looked at the trainee beside her and smiled gratefully, "thank you so much for the help you two." She told them gratefully. 'So it has been with Lord Equiste after all...' She thought with slight irritation, but being just a humble librarian with humble roots, she was too afraid to scold the nobleman. She decided to just let it slide.

Then she turned to look at General Alexandria, "the book you wanted has been returned, General. Will you need to take it out of the library or will it be alright for you to just read it here?"

Kisara just looked at the older Equiste as he returned the book that she wants to borrow. She already can tell the body language and reaction of Daramede that they were searching for that. Seems like Eddy forgot to ask permission or put in on record.

Sighing she looked at Camile and said. "Yes Camille, I will be borrowing it for a time but will return it in a day or two."

She went walked to the special section the to grab the book to where Edward placed it. Her heels made some soft tapping sounds as she walks. She took the red leather bound book and walked back to Camille.

"Please put it on record that I borrowed the book and I will return it on the appointed time" She said to the librarian and then looked hat Edward at the corner of her eye. "Unlike somebody who started this whole fuss in the first place."

"Well I should take my leave then." Since she have some work to see in the Main Office. She looked up at the tall Equiste. "See you around Eddy."

Kiran moved his hands when the Advisor gave his order to deal with the scattered books. He promptly ducked and started picking them one by one and relived that Philip came to help him through. But his eyes were on Edward, as he tried to get the book back to its shelf.

He gave a wide grin as his focus went to the book of red and gold, happy that it’s safe and back on its proper place. When he heard Philip whispered to him, he could only stare at his buddy, thinking what he had done to make him save the day. But it made him flattered all the same pushing his hands to scratch the back of his head due to embarrassment.

“I don’t really know what happened but since it all went well, why not?” He said with laughs in between.

Kiran’s head then turned to the librarian as she said her thanks. He could only look at the grateful look in her face. Although he had wanted to avoid women, it doesn’t mean he would leave them as is when they are in trouble. So he is quite thankful that Philip pushed him to stay and lend out a hand. At least, somehow, he knows that he’ll be comfortable inside the library. With the kind librarian they have.

As General Kisara just went outside after a few exchanges of words with the librarian, he turned to Philip, “Well, now that’s done, I need to continue my small trip around Antar now. You wanna come along?” He asked, hanging one arm over Philip’s shoulder.

Philip smiled lightly when he realized how surprised Kiran was to hear the congratulations. Everybody seemed satisfied with the strange outcome of the whole situation, but it did not make a good impression on Aventurra. He wasted too much time on what he considered to be a janitor's job instead of learning anything that could give him some advantage over other trainees.

His thoughts were focused around choosing a book from the section about magic when he felt Daramede's arm sneak around his shoulder. Philip was too tired to work on anything more, but decided it would be good to follow his friend around and get to know his new home. Without a word, he allowed the tall man to lead the way.

Edward felt chills ran down his spine at Kisara’s remark about records of books in the library. It is true that he kind of borrowed it without permission but it was because at that time, there was no one around the library that he can talk to.

He could only watch Kisara exit the room with a sly smile and bowed slightly to Camille as an apology. This day just gotten ahead of him when he had done his best to do a job that he wasn’t supposed to be.

‘Someone, remind me to hit one of the Fredeliz members later.’ He cursed in his head as he simulates on how he should come on to the mysterious house.

“Well, my job’s done now. I need to get going.” He said as he waved a simple hand to Camille and smiled to the two trainees as he passed through, pushing the door back, and closing.

He sighed when he got out.

‘Now, off to check on Eclair.’ He noted to self and left.

Scene End.
